OpenEyeFilms is an independent film development and production company focused on distinctive, human-centered storytelling. We develop original projects that explore character, emotion, identity, internal struggles, and the consequences of difficult choices. We emphasize strong visual language and visual environment in filmmaker-driven work.

We partner with companies and productions building cinematic worlds from the world around us, including real locations, natural environments, practical effects, and purposeful production design. Our approach favors restraint over spectacle and filmmaking choices that allow audiences to believe in the world where the story takes place.

Building relationships with writers, directors, producers, artists, and creative collaborators internationally. Current projects span narrative feature development, immersive experiences, creative research, and emerging concepts.

Our approach is simple: find the right story, understand what makes it emotionally specific, and build the right creative home around it.
